Water and Sanitation Improvement
The Rural Water and Sanitation improvement program is designed to increase access of water supply and sanitation services in participating rural communities. The objectives of the project are to: (1) increase the sustained and effective use of safe drinking water in participating communities; (2) improve use of sanitation and hygiene practices in participating communities.

Educational Programs
Notre Dame Community Outreach Association partners with Notre Dame High School to provide affordable education support to orphans and needy children in communities. Through Notre Dame Community Outreach, the school provides scholarships and affordable support.

Current projects include improvement of infrastructure, like finishing the multipurpose hall, to be used as a dining hall, lectures, seminars and workshops, art and drama classes, and community gatherings.
HIV Awareness and Eradication
Notre Dame Community Outreach organizes free lectures on HIV for the greater Masaka districts. Likewise, lectures are organized on reproductive health and hygiene awareness.

Notre Dame organizes medical camps in collaboration with the government of Uganda, in order to bring medical personnel for the Identification and treatment of HIV. By further engaging the local community, they are sensitized and made aware of centers for the distribution of HIV suppression medication. The majority of HIV victims are underprivileged, and thus, managing the disease is a major challenge.
